Varieties grown: Tango
We have found that farm-fresh celery is another being altogether than the limp, tasteless vegetable found in many grocery stores: it’s dark green, crunchy, juicy, sweet, and intensely flavorful. It takes a lot of work to grow great celery, so we hope you thoroughly enjoy ours!
How to use it:
Cooked in soups and stews
Enjoyed raw with peanut butter, tahini, ranch dressing, or hummus
Roasted with other vegetables as an accompaniment to chicken or pork
Sliced thinly or chopped, and added to tossed salads or deli-style salads
How to store it: In the refrigerator, inside a non-breathable container (plastic bag, glass or plastic storage tub, etc.).
